Heute etwas früher als gewohnt, da um 11:38 unser Jahresrückblick kommt, wollen wir in der Wochenvorschau einen Blick auf die Neuerscheinungen der nächsten Woche werfen. Der Blick nach Deutschland offenbart für den Auftakt des Jahres 2017: nahezu gähnende Leere. Neben einem LEGO-Comicband gibt es lediglich Band 10 der Star Wars Comic-Kollektion, den man sich am 5.1. bereits im Fachhandel abholen kann; der Buchmarkt muss sich für diesen Band indes noch bis zum 10.1. gedulden. In den USA sieht es allerdings schon etwas anders aus. Zwar besteht der Großteil der Neuerscheinungen dort aus Reprints von Material, das bereits anderswo erschienen ist, doch dennoch gibt es mehrere neue Titel zu vermelden.

Diese Jugendromanreihe stammt ursprünglich aus Großbritannien und startet mit 8 Monaten Verzögerung nun auch in den USA. Eine Vorabausgabe dieses Buchs enthielt auch die Novelle The Escape, die in den USA im Dezember als E-Book veröffentlicht wurde, aber in jüngerer Zeit gab es keine Anzeichen mehr, dass sie auch in der Printversion enthalten sein wird. Wir werden das nächste Woche aber in Erfahrung bringen und unseren Datenbankeintrag entsprechend anpassen.

Nachlieferungen werden nicht abgearbeitet, Abobonus wird nicht geliefert und die Comic-Sammelband-Geschichte ist megabemerkenswert. Die Teile kommen erst mal nur in bestimmten Bereichen in Deutschland raus, einige Wochen später kann man die dann online bestellen und Monate später werden dann die restlichen Gebiete in Deutschland beliefert. Kann man da keine Petition oder so was mal starten? Auf Beschwerdemails reagieren die auch nicht und Anrufen bei kostenpflichtigen Nummern muss ja nun auch nicht sein. Wie seht ihr das?
